Douglas Chapeta
My name is Douglas Chapeta. I am from Zimbabwe and I was raised by my parents from a family of 9 children.
I grew up from a disadvantaged family because my parents were not employed so I could not
further my studies so through extra mural education I learnt Art & Craft. So up until now I am earning my income through Art & Craft and I am the breadwinner in my family because my brothers and sisters
are in Zimbabwe and with the situation in Zimbabwe they are all struggling financially.
I am looking after my family and my in laws because I am married and I am also the bread winner there.
Also I have got 2 kids with my wife but my wife I brought her here in South Africa both with
my 2 kids and the old one is going to school here.
I am also helping disadvantaged people here in SA by teaching them how to do Art & Craft so they can earn themselves income than do crime as you know the crime rate is high in SA so I am just trying to combat it by teaching those who are interested and also those who are disabled.
