Wendy Mills
Born in Kent England in 1952, Wendy moved with her family
to (Rhodesia) Zimbabwe where her artistic talent developed rapidly.
In 1972 after many successful exhibitions -
Wendy opened her own Gallery "The Picture Frame" in Harare.
1982 saw Wendy move to Durban with her two children. She has exhibited her art for 22 years in Kwa Zulu Natal at many shows & galleries.
25 years at Art in The Park - Pietermaritzburg - where she was top seller in 2004.
1999 - Wendy lived on a Canal boat in England travelling & painting the English countryside.
The next two & a half years she lived in a delightful old beamed cottage in the biggest working
Craft centre in England - where she was the resident artist. Surrounded by sheep, cows and a beautiful old church on the hill. The Craft Centre overlooks the Malvern Hills.
It was here that Wendy extended her paintings to include animals in their natural surroundings.
Wendy Mills is one of Durban's best known Artists and her work is displayed
in galleries in England - South Africa and Zimbabwe.
Her paintings adorn walls in private homes all over the world.
Wendy's considerable success in Fine Art can be measured by the fact that her Art
has been her sole source of income for over 28 years.
Wendy has recently relocated to the United Kingdom.
